With any of these devices, coupled with our Housing Maintenance Data Capture Package, TouchIT HM, the task of collecting Housing Maintenance and Survey information quickly, safely and accurately is now easier and more cost effective than ever.

There are many Data Capture systems on the market running on a variety of impractical hand held devices and virtually all of these offers a single application only. This means that you, the customer, are forced into purchasing a number of packages to fulfil each of your applications separately, resulting in extra expense, software complexity and administrative headaches. At IKI, we believe in providing a Total Solution, which includes a truly integrated data capture product to fulfil all of your Housing related data capture needs in one combined package.

Each solution is set up and tested to use your Schedule of Rates, your Attribute List and your Condition Measurement Criteria. But in reality, you have taken full advantage of IKI’s long term research and development activity which has resulted in “off the shelf” modular routines and libraries that can be assembled to meet your specific needs. As a result, you get all the benefits of a bespoke package provided by a high calibre and experienced Software House for a fraction of the cost you would expect.

IKI also provides an easy-to-use interface with all known Housing Repairs and Housing Management Systems. This is achieved via our PC based software product called Data Control. Running within a Microsoft Windows environment, this product also offers a host of other functions. These include a List Manager that enables you to edit, delete and append lists that appear on the hand held device, and a Report Manager providing all the printed reports you would need from your inspection and data capture activity.

Your surveyors will no longer require any paper work, Schedule of Rate listings or reference sheets. Everything is held on the hand held. Survey activity is carried out by working through easy to use menu driven pick lists. The large clear touch screen allows long lists of reference data to be viewed on one page and a wide choice of time saving and innovative data capture methods are offered. So, no paperwork, no lengthy keying of data back at base, it could not be simpler.

As with all IKI TouchIT applications, the emphasis is on ease of use and rapid data entry. This approach ensures user acceptance and minimises training costs. Furthermore, the system can be readily integrated with other IKI TouchIT products. We can even provide you with the tools to build your own ad-hoc surveys - the choice is yours.
